Photo Session!!

After several months of delay and illness, we FINALLY had our family photos done in April!
We had an awesome photographer, and were very happy with the outcome!
I think it captures the love we all have! I cant believe this angel of mine is nearly 3 :(
BUT, i'm SO thrilled to have these cute pics to remember that she once was small.
I have LOTS to post, but my computer is having issues, so these may be spread out in sessions.

Our princess is oh so SMITTEN with her friend Cade. Not only are they church buddies, but he is also our neighbor!

EVERY time we leave the house, she points to his house and asks if she can go see him.

She calls him "my Cade". Its pretty darn funny.

For the past several weeks, while their daddies attend a men's bible study, we let the kids play together at his house or ours. He is so cute, and does whatever she says....and he is 7 months older!

Girls Trip!!

So, several of us from WRBC decided it was time for a girls weekend trip! The guys go away on two camping trips each year, so it was our turn to leave. We went to CANTON on April 1 and 2. We had an ABSOLUTE BLAST! We stayed at this VERY "rustic" lodge/cabin. We laughed ALOT about how it looked and smelled, but it worked out perfect and held all 6 of us very comfortably! We went on Friday afternoon and shopped a bit, and ate a yummy Mexican dinner. Saturday morning we ate in downtown and then made our way to the Grounds, and shopped ALL DAY! 3 of the girls were too tired and had to leave about 3:00, but us other 3 lasted several more hours. We finally got home Saturday night, and husbands and kiddos were VERY happy to see their mommies! I really LOVE all these ladies! So it has been a CRAZY BUSY 2011 so far!!

Between work, church, and daycare, we have been swamped.

So sorry about not updating sooner.......i WILL do better!

Update

As of last week, I can WALK freely again!
Doctor said
I could go without the crutches, unless it was a long walk, or somewhere where there could be a slick/wet floor to fall on.
My leg is 85% healed the dr reported. Wahoooo!!

I go back in 3 weeks for hopefully the last round of X-rays.
For now, I'm doing physical therapy several times a week, and hoping to get back my strength and range of motion VERY soon.
There is still pain, but its caused from all the scar tissue.

I'm so thrilled to be a happy, mobile wife and mommy again!

Halloween 2010!!!

We had a fun filled Halloween weekend! Saturday night we attended an 80's theme party hosted by our dear best friends in Cleburne. After church on Sunday, we watched football and napped, and then it was time to trick or treat!! I must say....MY ladybug was the CUTEST ladybug out there! There were random people asking if they could take her picture! :-)
